Jason Simanek (shi-'mä-nik) is a web designer/developer currently located in Nashville, but originally from Nebraska. He was raised near, but not in, a barn. He is a descendant of a long line of Nebraska farmers and Czech peasants. Surprisingly, Jason also has a brother and sister that are graphic designers. None of his siblings are farmers. Yet.
After completing a BA in Fine Art, a BFA in Graphic Design and working as a designer for several years, he realized that his interest in drawing and design ultimately came down to a primary interest in clear communication and the construction of complex objects with visual harmony. This understanding has led him to focus on web design and web technologies.
